Management Programme – The best course I’ve been on!

I recently attended a management programme with Mike at Potential Unearthed.  I loved it! It was fun, engaging and I learned so much.

Each module was packed full of practical tools that I’ve used with my team, and this has helped me to gain a better understanding of not only my own management style, but it’s also helped be to understand the motivations, values and personality of the people I manage.

The best course I’ve been on!  I would highly recommend Mike and Potential Unearthed as he’s using his own experience to share and learn in practical ways and not just from a textbook!

One-to-One Coaching – We cannot recommend you enough!

We initially approached Potential Unearthed to carry out management coaching for myself and three of our team leaders and have been so highly impressed that we’ve now appointed Mike for additional coaching for the wider team. Potential Unearthed were the chosen provider to deliver a bespoke management and leadership development programme with Hexagon Care Services’ Senior Leadership Team.  The programme was commissioned to support the continuous professional development of the organisation’s senior leaders and encourage cohesiveness within the team.

From initial proposal stage and throughout the programme, Mike was receptive and attune to our requirements and tailored the sessions to fit with the needs of the team.  His delivery style, flexible approach and sense of humor helped to facilitate some difficult topics and conversations and was much appreciated by all.

LPPA – The workshops are a perfect balance between instruction and practical

LPPA have worked with Mike from Potential Unearthed for over a year and find his workshops excellent. Mike is very engaging and down-to-earth and each training group has taken away lots of useful information on a variety of personal and group topics.

Mike is a great facilitator and his approach towards the group and the tasks they undertake is relaxed, creating a great learning environment for everyone to be in. The workshops are a perfect balance between instruction and practical exercises. 

In each training group there is always someone who doesn’t want to do the training and every time Mike has changed their mind set and won them over. We look forward to working with him on future projects.

Presentation Skills – The workshop has given us a lot of tips to work on

Mike came in to deliver a presentation skills workshop to a team with a fairly limited amount of presentation experience and confidence was an issue. After attending some of Mike’s courses myself I knew he would be a great person to deliver this training and build up the confidence of the team.

We spent the time mainly in small groups practicing presentations and giving each other feedback, which put us all at ease. Mike also gave us some really useful tips for nerves and how to overcome presentation fear.

As a result of the session, the team have used the skills already and have been busy making changes to their presentations to make them more dynamic. The workshop has given us a lot of tips to work on and improve. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mike and his presentation skills workshop!
