Presentation Skills – The workshop has given us a lot of tips to work on

Mike came in to deliver a presentation skills workshop to a team with a fairly limited amount of presentation experience and confidence was an issue. After attending some of Mike’s courses myself I knew he would be a great person to deliver this training and build up the confidence of the team.

We spent the time mainly in small groups practicing presentations and giving each other feedback, which put us all at ease. Mike also gave us some really useful tips for nerves and how to overcome presentation fear.

As a result of the session, the team have used the skills already and have been busy making changes to their presentations to make them more dynamic. The workshop has given us a lot of tips to work on and improve. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mike and his presentation skills workshop!

I could not recommend Potential Unearthed Ltd more for workplace training – we are now on our second phase of line manager training with Mike after he put a proposal together of 6 modules that he believed would benefit the line managers at our organisation.

Mike has been a dream to work with from our initial call, listening to what I would like the managers to get out of the sessions, to the actual implementation of the modules. We have had such great feedback from all the managers who have done the training, with key highlights to how enjoyable and educational the sessions are as well as Mike having a great approach to interaction with the attendees.

We are in the process of using Potential Unearthed Ltd for other training in another area of the business for employees who need to improve their soft skills for presenting. I am looking forward to continuing our work together! Thank you for all of your help 🙂

Here at PU, we’re very proud to be a delivery partner for Lancashire Constabulary.  We recently delivered a comprehensive two-day programme for their 1st and 2nd Line Managers.

👊  I don’t really like going on courses but I really enjoyed this one and it was mostly due to how the trainer, Mike, ran it. Although you had discussions around your respective table there was no pressure or expectation for you to speak out to the whole room if you didn’t want to, which made the experience more relaxing and enjoyable and allowed you to take part fully without the dread of having to speak out to everyone. The trainer was brilliant, he effortlessly had everyone’s attention and explained everything clearly.

👊  This course was excellent, it provides a real insight on leadership and was delivered really well. The gent (Mike) delivering it was really knowledgeable and passionate and made all aspects interesting and relevant. The course flowed well with all the different aspects linking well together. Altogether one of the best courses I’ve been on.
